mookymoose asked:
I have 8 portfolios and I have made changes to them for years. I added a stock to one of my portfolios, entered more information and “Finished”. Nothing I do allows me to see the new stock in that portfolio. I tried removing 2 of the portfolios I have but they will not delete. I can still edit them, but when I do, there is nothing there. The edit screen complains that the portfolio key was not found. This problem exists on multiple PCs (home and work).

Nicky B asked:
My business partner and her husband recently almost in foreclosure on a rental home they purchased a few years ago. She informed me that her credit has been affected (increased interest rate and reduced lines of credit). She told me that she received a letter the other day from our business line of credit from $20,000 to $10,000. I’m concerned that this will have an affect on my personal credit line. Does anyone know if I’m personally protected or if it will have a negative affect on my personal credit (interest rates, lines of credit & credit score)?

I am trying to switch all my billing over to paperless and electronic billing to cut down on paper. Before I do this I want to creat a folder in windows for my downloaded monthly statements but i want to make it password protected so that just any Joe on my computer wont be able to check out my personal finances. Is this possible? If so can you give me instructions on how I would do so? Thanks

I would like to have a safeand secure, legit, personal finance tracker online. Basically where I can input debts and have access to assistance or tips, a way to keep up with my finances and get things on the right track. Any suggestions? I was scared to try some places because I wasn’t sure if it is a safe and secure sight. Thanks!

I’m a Canadian living in the United Arab Emirates and need a
budgeting program that is compliant with my lifestyle. I hold assets in multiple currencies so this would be a key feature that I’d be looking for. If there is something out there that supports international stock markets, even better. Is there such a program out there?? any info would be appreciated.

I **** my haters asked: I asked what you all thought would be scarier, being homeless or young & pregnant. 99% of you said homeless. Now suppose a young girl was in that “scary” homeless predicament, but dug herself out of it in a relatively short period of time, by working hard, being innovative, budgeting, reading up on budgeting & personal finances, and really turned her life around in about a year? And suppose this same self-sufficient hard worker then got pregnant(unmarried)? Do you think she would be most likely very capable of taking care of a baby, since she’d obviously faced & conquered bigger obstacles before? Or, do you think her homeless experiences would deem her to be “worse” than most other moms-to-be, since perhaps her homeless experiences might have psychologically scarred her a little? Or perhaps if she became homeless before, maybe she’s more prone to become homeless again?
Either way, how do you think one’s past homeless experience(s) affects how capable of a parent/provider she might be?
Just to clarify: The “pregnant girl” that I wrote about in this (completely hypothetical) situation would no longer be homeless. She used to be homeless but worked hard to pull herself upward and now has her own apartment.
By the way: I’m not pregnant, nor is anyone that I know that used to be homeless. This is a hypothetical “thinking” type of question. But the feedback is very important to me.
Note: Sometimes even precautions/contraception doesn’t work. In my scenario, the condom broke and then the emergency contraceptive pill didn’t work either. True story too by the way.
