What kind of concept do you deal with? People tend to think that PF people just lecture their clients on why they shouldn’t buy spinners and why credit card debt is bad. What is it reall? What’s the exciting world of personal finance all about?

So here I am, a full-time university student. I was working for a financial corporation for a while now, earning a decent salary. Now it’s been a few months, that I transferred to working 20 hours a week. So that’s half the pay cheque, now on top of that, My work place used to be a 15 minute drive on the freeway, now its a minimum 50 minute drive down the freeway. I can’t handle full-time work and school, so i’m cutting down on work. But, my finances aren’t adding up, I still can’t manage to save any money what so ever. I’m barely breaking even…
What should I do? Look for a new job? Get a lower waged job, closer to home/school?

Besides Suze Orman’s book, I can’t find anything about money management for young adults. Everything is based for teens (about summer jobs and allowance), or adults. Is there anything for the college age/just entering workplace/20s?

please help me make a great decision.

I have six thousand dollars to pay my car loan in full that has a 5.5 percent over 4 years. but i also have a 15 thousand dollar debt on a 13 percent credit card. What should i do? should i pay the car in full or should i make that payment to my credit card which looks like it never goes any lower than what i owe.

also please give a good reason why my money should go to that particular payment. either the car or the credit card.
