Will CPA knowledge help me with personal investment?

I am currently a rising senior in college and I am thinking to attend to an one-year master of accountancy program. I am interested in the stuff (accounting), but don’t want to settle for being as an accountant for life. I was just wondering, will the stuff I learn in such program be helpful for my personal finance, like investing my own money? Or is that more like a CFA’s job? Thanks a lot. I really appreciate your time and certainly your answer.
