Nicky B asked:
My business partner and her husband recently almost in foreclosure on a rental home they purchased a few years ago. She informed me that her credit has been affected (increased interest rate and reduced lines of credit). She told me that she received a letter the other day from our business line of credit from $20,000 to $10,000. I’m concerned that this will have an affect on my personal credit line. Does anyone know if I’m personally protected or if it will have a negative affect on my personal credit (interest rates, lines of credit & credit score)?

Holly G asked: Fred is checking the calculations on his monthly bank statement. An interest charge of $16.3724 was rounded to $16.38. An interest charge of $43.7214 was rounded to 43.73. What rule does the bank use for rounding off to the nearest cent?
Im really confused on this question. Can someone please answer this and explain it to me?

I already picked up a second and third job, but getting a personal loan will help me consolidate these debts and make it easier to pay off. I have a motorcycle to put up for a secured loan but not sure of where to go even for that. My credit score is 510 and I need about a 5-7 k loan. Any help in where to go?????

Keep in mind my credit is poor, but not horrible. I am not looking for a payday loan..just a finance company who works with slightly high risk customers. Minnesota, South Dakota, or North Dakota leads only, please!
I checked with American General. The branch in Sioux Falls, SD is not licensed in MN and the next closest one is in Eau Claire, WI….6 hours from here. And they said my credit would have to be good enough to qualify for an unsercured loan since I am so far away from the branch. (they said they cant use a MN auto title and aren’t going to drive all the way out here to get a TV should I default)

This is related mainly to my personal business, and personal finances. Any help on this, or an organization to help with credit card debt consolidation, would be greatly appreciated.

My personal finances are in ruin. I cannot pay my credit cards and am currently trying to find a solution. Can a creditor attach a claim on my LLC’s bank account that we use for our store? I have 2 employees and the store basically just breaks even. All credit card debts are in my personal name and not the name of my LLC. I live in the State of Washington.

Someone I hardly know used me as a reference when financing a car and now he has not paid in months. I did not give him permission to use me as a personal reference and now they are calling me constantly to get in touch with him. I don’t even know his phone number! Can people just use any old name and number as a reference for a car these days? How can I get my name taken off his application? They say theres nothing they can do until he contacts them!

I have a company line of credit and a company credit card. The business was terrible and i am forced to go out of business. I am the personal guarantor of the debts. What would happen to those debts and how would it effect my personal finances if my business goes under? Thank you for you help in advance.
It is an S-Corporation and the debt never shows up on my personal credit report because it is considered company debt.

A few weeks ago, I submitted a credit application online at a local dealerships website. I filled it in completely. I waited to hear from the dealer, yes or no on financing. They contacted me and told me I had to come to the dealership. They would not say yes or no to financing, and I have not received a notice of denial by mail. I don’t think they even ran a credit check. Is it legal for them to collect all my personal information, and then not use it for the intended purpose?
